Loader Operator | Short-Term Opportunity

Programmed Skilled Workforce is currently seeking an experienced Loader Operator for a well-established client. This is an excellent opportunity to secure immediate work in a busy, safety-focused environment, with the potential for ongoing employment for the right person.

This role is initially a 4-week placement, however there is a genuine opportunity for the position to become permanent if you're the right fit.

What's on Offer?

  • Day shifts working 6:00am – 6:00pm (some days may finish around 4:00pm)

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a front-end loader in a busy production environment
  • Load and move raw materials as required
  • Feed plant equipment while maintaining production flow
  • Conduct daily pre-start inspections and basic machine housekeeping
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Follow all site safety procedures and company policies
  • Assist with general yard duties when required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience operating a front-end loader
  • Current loader competency/ticket (highly regarded)
  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Ability to work long day shifts in an outdoor environment
  • Reliable transport and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
